Along a snowy landscape of the Waterton Lakes National Park is a Bighorn sheep. This male sheep also called a ram stands as he overlooks his surroundings.
His large horns that curve from his forehead and around by his ears and can weigh as much as thirty pounds. The female sheep or ewe also has horns but on a smaller scale than the male.
The male is covered in a dark brown fur and has a patch of white fur on his rump. His face is also a dark brown with a small white patch around his black nose and mouth.
Snow covers the hibernating plants and the rocky ledge of the park.
