The beautiful and stunning Maruia Falls cascade over a rocky ledge. The rapid falls are misty and foamy as they descend into the green bubbly waters below.

Further down the ledge from the main falls are two smaller openings for the rushing water to descend.

The large stone ledges are stained with green moss and green foliage grows from the rock’s crevices.

Adding to the background of the falls are large green trees with a small view of the mountains between the trees.

Bright royal blue sky with soft wisps of clouds hangs just above the dark mountain peaks.
